Description
We arrived in Banff from Drumheller on Sunday evening, we unpacked, explored the city and settled in. On Thursday morning at around 3:30am, with Victoria soundly sleeping, I woke up, grabbed my gear that was prepared the night before and tip-toed out the door and headed for Banff Avenue.
As I rounded the corner from Wolf Street to Banff Avenue, I spotted two coyotes running up the road looking for food. The only other person I saw was a jogger, she got spooked by the coyotes and ran the other way!
I set up at the corner of Banff Avenue and Caribou Street, shooting time lapse and taking photos as the quiet city of Banff slowly woke up and transformed into the busy hub of tourist activity that it is known for.
The next morning I returned and captured the sun rise from the Bow River Bridge,
